The phasing of how the water enters the city and takes over the open spaces is great. The idea of distributing the water to places where we can afford to keep it is simple but effective. I think what remains as a problem is the fact that you are not taking into account the different levels and hight of those open spaces. I think some of those places the water just couldn't reach. If you also could show some more detailed pictures of what London looks like as an island city this would be helpful to intensifying the project. e.g. Venice
This is the GROUP06 of the Urban Design course 08/09. The work featuring here has be done by the students as part of their Master. We are working on the topic of urban change and are focusing on London. Of interest are the past and current, but mainly the future MUTATIONS of the city.
